BIO
CATMOONK is one of the most distinctive new voices on the Russian electronic scene. With a background in theatre and rock music, he brings powerful vocals, drama, and raw emotion into the electronic realm, transforming every show into a true live experience.

Having started as a child prodigy, Yuri (the artist behind CATMOONK) studied classical singing at the Gnessin Academy and theatre arts at GITIS before discovering electronic music. His journey took him from rock stages to Moscow’s underground clubs, where he blended Drum & Bass and Jungle with live vocals.

After his debut release Say Hello with DJ Shevtsov and a creative break, he relaunched as CATMOONK in 2021. Since then, he has built an hour-long live set, collaborated with producers such as German Brigante, Anturage (Fake Mood), Alexey Union, and performed as a headliner at major Russian festivals.
